Dusty Dolls: Winx Club Shopping Day Stella by Mattel

Hi there to those very few people who are kind enough to read a newbie's blog. XD I'm back with another 'Dusty Dolls' post, and today I will be showing you a doll who I have chosen to keep in her box, for now at least. So, let's go on and meet Shopping Day Stella!

Winx Club 2005 Shopping Day Stella by Mattel

Here is some better backstory to this doll, because she comes from an apparently very rare doll line. She was produced by Mattel in 2005, based on the popular tv show, Winx Club. Mattel made these dolls from 2004 to around 2009. After being discontinued, the Winx Club dolls by Mattel became increasingly rare, especially after Jakks Pacific took the license to make Winx Club dolls. Some dolls are actually pretty easy to find for, reasonable prices, depending on condition and all that. This particular doll I have only ever seen for sale twice on ebay, so im guessing she is among some of the more rare dolls in the line. I have much more of these dolls, so I will probably make a post going into more detail, but, lets get on with the post!

Here is a picture of her artwork on the bottom right corner of her box.

And a back view of her box:

A little bit closer:

Now for the doll herself!

A close-up look of her beautiful face.
She has hazel eyes, (which are showing up orange for some reason)
and orange eye shadow. Her lips are a pearly orange-red color that I adore.

Her hair is a two toned mix of bleach blonde and yellow blonde
She seems to have two long tendrils of hair that are supposed to frame her face,
but they are being held back my a plastic strip of some sort.
She also has a ponytail that starts at the top of her head and sort of blends with the
                                                                      rest of her hair.

Her outfit consists of a two layered orange top with a blue star on her shoulder, some blue pants, with some orange at the top to simulate a waistband or maybe a belt? And some orange cuffs at the bottom of the pant legs. She also has this weird orange frilly arm band sort of thing, Im not sure what it is, but it seems cute.

Her shoes are bright neon orange wedges with little circles
near her toes, and another little circle just above her ankle.
unfortunately, one of her feet has slipped out of it's shoe, but it isn't too odd looking.

She comes with an extra pair of pink heels in a purple plastic shoe box.

And she comes with a cute card showing her holding her pixie friend. (the other side of the card has her in her fairy form, but it was too hard to photograph)
But if you want to see her fairy form, it's the same as her box art.

                                                                            like this!

So, that's really it for this doll, I love her a lot, and since she is apparently very rare, it makes her all the more special to be in my doll collection! I hope you liked this review! Bye Bye!

Dusty Dolls: Hi:Glamm Julia doll by MGA Entertainment

Hi again! I know next to no one is reading my blog yet, but I hope to change that soon. Anyways, I decided to start a new series of posts for this blog, I'm going to call it, Dusty Dolls, and it will revolve around older-ish dolls from 2007 to the early 2000's. So without further ado, lets start off, Dusty Dolls! Today I will show you a doll from a (kind of unknown) series called Hi:Glamm!

Hi:Glamm Julia, MGA 2007

Hi:Glamm was a really short lived line of dolls released by MGA in 2007. Hi:Glamm only released one line of dolls (as far as I can tell), and a few accessory packs. The dolls were also distributed by Giochi Preziosi in Europe, where they seemed to be more popular. Today I will be showing you the Julia character from this line, I have had her for a few years now, so she may be missing some accessories.
Here is a full body shot of Julia,

And a shot of her from the back,

Here she is standing next to a monster high doll to show off how tall she is.
Julia is about 13" inches tall.

She came wearing these cute black glasses on her head,

Her purse is really cute with fake denim on the upper half,
and a red imitation leather looking bottom half.
The strap isn't supposed to be in two, but the folded part
sort of came, unglued. And there is a little pink cheetah print bow
                               tied around the strap.

And a shot from the back,

She came with this cute little laptop,

And a teeny tiny little camera (which is insanely hard to photograph nicely!)

Her other accessories include a pair of socks,
and two bracelets (one white, and one pink).

That's basically it for this doll, she is insanely cute and her long legs add to her fun factor, for a much more in-depth review of a Hi:Glamm doll, go check out Miss Emily's review over on her blog!

                                                                       Bye Guys!!

My Introduction!

Hi everybody! This is my first blog post, and I'm still getting used to all of the features on blogger, so please bear with me if I completely muck something up, but I am incredibly excited, and I hope to make some new friends!

Some of my dolls wanted to say hi!

Sorry about the graininess of the pic, my camera isn't the best, and it's getting dark, but I'll get better, promise! Ok, so for now, I'm signing out! PEACE!
